Autism 5k & Fun Run - Shreveport, LA

The event takes place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, with start and finish at SC Church, 5720 Buncombe Rd, Shreveport, LA 71129. The program includes a 5k road run and a short fun run for younger participants.

Fun Run (½ mile)

Registration fees change by date: early registration is $25 through February 23, $30 through March 13, and $40 on the day of the event. An original event t-shirt is not guaranteed for registrations made after February 23. Race packets and shirts may be collected at Sportspectrum on March 12 and March 13, with on-site packet pick-up also available on race day. A swag bag from sponsors will be distributed to registrants on a first come first serve basis.

Teams may register under a team name. Age-group categories are 8 and under, 9-11, 12-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, and 50 and over; each age-group winner receives a prize. The overall male and female winners will receive a $100 gift card. After the event there will be refreshments and awards.

Course rules note that strollers, wagons, baby joggers and other hand-pushed or pulled vehicles are limited to walking pace. In-line skates and roller skates are prohibited on the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
