Event Overview
The American Legion Post 14 Birthday Bash is an inaugural running event taking place in Shreveport, Louisiana. All funds raised support Veterans, their families, Service Members, and American Legion Post 14. The event is held on Saturday, March 14, 2026.

Location and Course
The event starts and finishes in the parking lot of the American Legion Post 14 on South Lakeshore Drive. The course runs along Cross Lake.
Post-Race and Awards
Following the race, there is a birthday celebration with sponsor booths, food, and birthday cake. Awards are given for the 5k, including overall male and female winners and medals for first-place males and females in seven age groups (13-19 through 70+). The kids' run awards overall 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. The 1-mile walk/fun run does not award prizes.
Registration and Fees
Entry fees are $25 for the 5k, $25 for the 1 Mile Walk/Fun Run, $10 for the 1/2 Mile Kids Run, and $20 for the Sleep-In Supporter. The Sleep-In Supporter option is for donors who cannot attend; they receive an event t-shirt.
Participant Shirts and Packet Pickup
Participants who register before Monday, March 2, will receive a performance camo t-shirt. Packet pickup is available at Sportspectrum on Thursday, March 12, and Friday, March 13. An additional pickup is at the American Legion Post on Tuesday, March 10, for those unable to go to Sportspectrum. Race day packet pickup is also available.
