Run Internacional The U.S. - Mexico 10K

Run Internacional The U.S. - Mexico 10K is a cross border road race that follows a roughly equal route through the downtowns of El Paso and Ciudad Juarez. The event covers 10 km, with approximately 5 kilometers in El Paso and 5 kilometers in Ciudad Juarez, and crosses an international bridge to reach the finish line at the international boundary on top of the Paso Del Norte International Bridge.

Organized by the El Paso Community Foundation since 2015, the race highlights the shared binational identity of the El Paso Ciudad Juarez region. The 8th edition is scheduled for Sunday April 4, 2027, and the event capacity for that edition is 5,000 runners.

Registration for the race is $50 USD and will increase to $60 USD on December 1, 2026. Registration includes a technical shirt and a finisher medal. Registrations are non refundable; transfers are permitted until January 31, 2027 for a $25 fee. There is no age limit for participation. Teams are allowed and can be created or joined during registration.

Participants must carry valid travel documents appropriate to their citizenship to cross the border and return to the United States; acceptable documents include WHTI compliant documents such as a passport, passport card, enhanced driver license, visa, border crossing card, trusted traveler card, or U.S. lawful permanent resident card. The race allows 90 minutes to complete the course and provides four water stations, two in each city. Top three overall finishers for men and women receive trophies and finishers in each age category receive medals. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
