Event Overview
The Run Hatteras 5k Road Race Series takes place on the Outer Banks in Avon, North Carolina. This event is held within the Kinnakeet Shores development, which is part of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Participants can choose between two main distances:

Course Details
The course is located at Kinnakeet Shores and is characterized as a flat route suitable for both running and walking. The event utilizes chip timing to provide accurate results for all participants. The starting and finishing area is located at SUN Realty along NC-12.
Participant Amenities and Awards
All registered participants receive a T-shirt and a unique finisher medal. Following the completion of the race, a light breakfast and refreshments are provided at the finish line.
The event recognizes top performers with awards in several categories. This includes the top three male and female finishers overall, as well as first-place awards for the youth category (ages 14 and under) and the masters category (ages 40 and over) for both men and women.
Registration and Logistics
