Event Overview

The Run Hatteras 5K Road Race Series offers two race distances: a 5k and a 1 Mile. The event is located at SUN Realty on NC-12 in Avon, North Carolina, within the Kinnakeet Shores area of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore.

Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, the first-place youth boy and girl (aged 14 and under), and the first-place male and female masters runners (aged 40 and over).

Registration & Logistics

Registration fees are listed as $45 for adults, $40 for youth under 17, and $40 for active military veterans. There is no pre-event packet pickup; race-day packet pickup and walk-up registration are available from 7:00 AM to 7:45 AM at the start line at SUN Realty.
