Run Hatteras 5K Road Race Series
The Run Hatteras 5K Road Race Series takes place in Avon, North Carolina, on the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. This event is held in the Kinnakeet Shores area and features a flat course suited for both running and walking. Participants can choose between two available distances:
- 5k
- 1 Mile
The event utilizes chip timing to provide results for participants. All registered individuals receive a T-shirt and a finisher medal. Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers in the overall category, as well as the first-place male and female in the youth category (14 and under) and the masters category (40 and over).
Logistics are centered at the SUN Realty location on NC-12. Following the completion of the race, the organizer provides a light breakfast and refreshments at the finish line. Registration options are available for adults, youth under 17, and active military or veterans.
