Run Hatteras 5k Road Race Series August 7, 2026
This event is a summer road race in Avon, North Carolina, held in Kinnakeet Shores at SUN Realty, 41838 NC-12, Avon, NC 27915. It includes two distance options:

- 1 Mile
Registration fees are listed as Adult $45, Youth under 17 $40, and Active Military Veteran $40. Online registration remains available. There is no pre event morning packet pick-up. Race day packet pickup and walk-up registration are available race morning from 7:00 to 7:45 AM at the start line at SUN Realty.
The course is described as a flat run or walk through Kinnakeet Shores, part of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Chip timing is used. Every participant receives a T-shirt and a unique finisher medal. Awards are presented to the top three male and female overall finishers, first place youth boy and girl 14 and under, and first place male and female masters 40 and over.
