Run for the Titan Trail 5K : 14th Annual
The 14th and final Run for the Titan Trail is a community event centered at Shaler Area Elementary School in Glenshaw, Pennsylvania. The event features a chip timed 5K run and a one mile walk that begin and end at the school and follow local neighborhood streets. A short tot run for young children is also included.

The event serves as a fundraiser to help cover the cost of a year end reading incentive trip to Millvale Riverfront Park and the Three Rivers Heritage Trail for Shaler Area Elementary School students. The reading incentive program, Blazing a Titan Trail: A Reading Adventure, is a school wide effort at Shaler Area Elementary School for grades 4 through 6; students aim to read 18 books during the school year to attend the trip. The program was developed by a volunteer committee of teachers, librarians, parents, and administrators.
Registration opens in February 2026 for the listed events and most registrations close in early April 2026, with a later closing for the tot run. A t shirt is available for participants who register by April 5, subject to limited numbers and sizes. A five dollar student discount is applied once an age group is chosen.
