14th Annual Run for the Titan Trail
The Run for the Titan Trail features its fourteenth and final edition at Shaler Area Elementary School in Glenshaw, Pennsylvania. This community event serves as a fundraiser to support a school-wide reading incentive program for pupils in grades 4, 5, and 6. Proceeds help cover the costs of a year-end trip to Millvale Riverfront Park and the Three Rivers Heritage Trail for students who meet specific reading goals during the academic year.
Participants can choose from three distinct distances:
- 5K Run
- 1 Mile Walk
- 50 Yards (Tot Run)
The 5K Run is chip-timed for accurate results. Both the running and walking courses start at the elementary school, navigate through local neighborhood streets, and conclude back at the school grounds. Individuals who complete their registration by April 5 are eligible to receive an event t-shirt, though limited sizes may be available for those registering after this date. Students are eligible for a registration discount which is applied during the entry process. Check-in and on-site registration activities take place at the school before the events begin.
