Event overview
The Central Valley Warrior 5K takes place on Saturday April 25, 2026, in Monaca, PA at Central Valley High School, 160 Baker Road Extension. The event includes the following distances:
- 5K run
- 5K competitive walk
- 1 Mile or 5K fun walk
Standard entry fee is $20, with the fee increasing after February 20, 2026. The 5K run is open to participants up to age 100. Registration for the fun walk closes April 21, 2026.
Course, logistics and purpose
The event starts and finishes at the Walter R. & Lois A. Sylvester Wellness Center on the Central Valley High School campus. The course begins at the high school football field, continues onto Baker Road, passes CCBC and Center Grange Elementary, and returns to the school campus ending at the Wellness Center. Pre-race packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race at the Wellness Center; race day packet pickup is available at the Wellness Center as well. Awards are presented to overall male and female finishers and to the top three finishers in each age group. The event raises funds to provide health and wellness equipment for community members and students of the Central Valley School District.
