Foxes on the Run 5k
The Foxes on the Run 5k is a community athletic event held at Dorseyville Middle School in Allison Park. The course takes participants through the grounds of Hartwood Acres. The event features multiple distance options to accommodate different ages and interests:
- 5K
- 1/2 Mile Kids' Run
- 100 Meter kids dash
All participants in the event receive race swag, which includes a commemorative tee shirt and a swag bag. The 1/2 mile kids dash is specifically open to participants aged 14 and under, and these runners receive a prize upon reaching the finish line.
The 5K race includes a competitive element with awards presented to the top three overall male and female finishers. Additionally, the event recognizes the top three male and female participants across ten different age categories, ranging from age 6 and under up to 60 and over.
The venue is located at 4100 Middle Road. Essential facilities for participants are provided on-site, including designated parking areas and restrooms. Packet pick-up is organized prior to the start of the events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
