Logistics and organization
The event is organized by the Avonworth 8th grade class under the direction of their civics teacher and cross country coaches. Students are responsible for designing the event t-shirt, creating medals and awards in Technology Education classes, and soliciting local business sponsorships and donations. Net proceeds will benefit the Hannah Milbert Memorial Fund.
Early registration is priced at $20 until March 30, 2026; the entry fee increases after that date. Race day registration and packet pick-up are available at Lenzner Field (t-shirts not guaranteed for race day registrants). Participant parking is at the Avonworth Middle School/High School campus; parking in fire lanes is not permitted. A student-designed website provides additional event information.
