Event Overview
The Run for the Pineapple 5K is a running event scheduled for Monday, May 25, 2026. This is the 35th annual edition of the race. Due to construction, the event will take place at Indian Riverside Park in Jensen Beach, Florida. The race address is 1707 NE Indian River Drive.
Event Details
There are two main participation options:
- 35th Annual Run for the Pineapple 5K Run: This option includes a unisex cotton/poly running shirt and a coordinating finisher medal for participants who register before April 30, 2026.
- Old Skool Pineapple 5K (No Shirt): A lower-cost option that does not include the event shirt.
Total race entries are capped at 500 participants. The event uses chip timing provided by MCM Timing. Age-group awards are presented three places deep. Post-race refreshments are available.
Registration and Perks
Registration prices increase after April 30, 2026. For the main event, a shirt and finisher medal are guaranteed for registrations completed by that date. For registrations after April 30, shirt size is subject to availability. All entry fees are non-refundable. The event is held regardless of weather, except in cases of lightning or tropical storm conditions.
Packet Pickup
Packet pickup is available before race day at the Fleet Feet running store in Stuart on Saturday, May 24 and Sunday, May 25. Race-day packet pickup is also available on Monday, May 26. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
