DTR 10 Mile Night Run
The DTR 10 Mile Night Run is a 10 mile trail event held at Jonathan Dickinson State Park in Hobe Sound, Florida. The course is an out and back with a lollipop loop that is heavily marked with reflective arrows and wrong-way signs.
Flashlights or headlamps are required on course. The trail includes double-track and single-track sections, two bridge crossings, mostly flat dirt with some sand, and root-filled areas through the Pine Wood Forest. Depending on recent rainfall, some sections can be wet.
Organizers use safety procedures consistent with their ULTRA-TRAIL events, including water aid stations, experienced trail-running volunteers, and medical staff along the course. Packet pickup is same day and runs from 4:30pm to 5:45pm.
A costume contest awards the top three costumes, with the first place prize including a free entry to the Dunes 2026 event. All participants receive a park entry pass, a finisher medal, and a custom T-shirt; food and drinks are provided before and after the event.
