Run for Renee 5k : event description
The event takes place on July 12, 2026 in Quispamsis, New Brunswick. It is a 5 km certified point to point course established in 2016. The start is at the corner of Gondola Point Rd and Vincent Rd and the route follows Gondola Point Rd to where it ends near the ferry.
The course is mostly downhill for the first 2 km, then features small ups and downs to the finish. There is ample parking at the finish; organizers encourage a buddy system to return to the start because no transportation is provided. Roads remain open to traffic and registration is capped at 50 runners.
Registration is online only; race day registration is not available. The entry fee is 10.00 CAD per participant and payments are made online. The regular registration deadline is July 10, 2026 at 11:59pm Atlantic Time.
This is a no‑frills race: no t shirts, no medals, and no chip timing. Refreshments are provided at the finish. The event uses a points system across seven races with small prizes awarded after the final race. Course records are listed as female 16:57 (June 2018) and male 14:47 (May 2018).
