2026 Loonie Loops, Saint John New Brunswick
The 4th annual Loonie Loops takes place on Saturday September 12, 2026 at the YMCA Glenn Carpenter Centre, around Ashburn Lake in Saint John. It is presented by Fundy Coast Counselling & Therapy in support of the YMCA and is described as New Brunswick's first and only 24 hour trail race.
The course is a 3 km loop entirely on private land. Each lap includes about 90 meters of climbing and descending on moderately technical singletrack. Most climbing occurs on one short hill that leads to a lookout with views of Ashburn Lake and Loon Island. There is an aid station every 3 km.
