About the race
Hampton 5 Miler, held in Hampton, New Brunswick, is the RunNB 5 Mile Championship. The main 8 km race is run on the same certified loop the event has used for two decades, starting and finishing near Hampton High School. The weekend also includes a youth series on September 13 with 1.0 km, 2.5 km, and 4 km cross-country races at Hampton Elementary School, encouraging community participation and active living.
The course is certified since 2022 (NB2022011PTBA) with two water stations along the loop. Proceeds support local cross-country programs, high and middle school athletics, and theatre. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
