Hampton 5 Miler
The Hampton 5 Miler is a 5-mile (8 km) road race in Hampton, New Brunswick, held on September 13, 2026. The event hosts the RunNB 5 Mile Championship and is part of the SuperSeries with an official 8 km distance. The course is a loop measured with a Jones counter and certified since 2022 (certificate NB‑2022‑011‑PTB). The race was established in 2002.
Online registration is available with a regular fee of 30 CAD per entry. A late registration option is offered the day before the race at Hampton Elementary School for an additional fee of 35 CAD. Day-of-race registration is permitted for the main event. Youth races require race-day registration only and have a fee of 3 CAD.
Youth races take place the day before the main event at Hampton Elementary School on the running trails and field; these are cross-country distances matching school race distances. Distances offered:
- 1.0 km for elementary categories
- 2.5 km for middle school categories
- 4.0 km for high school categories
Two water stations are placed on the loop. Awards include top three male and female finishers in the 8 km, medals for all participants in the 1 km and 2.5 km, and a medal for the top finisher in the 4 km.
