Run like a Girl Series - Desoto, TX (July to October 2026)
The Run like a Girl Series is a sequence of community running events held in Desoto, Texas between July and October 2026. Each race donates 100% of its proceeds to Bras for Girls, a charity that provides new sports bras and breast health education for girls ages 8 to 18.
The series includes the following events and distances:
- Stride for Strength : 5K (3.1 miles), registration fee $30
- Miles for Self-belief : 5K (3.1 miles), registration fee $30
- Empower her Every Mile : 5K (3.1 miles), registration fee $30
- Fearless Finish Line : 10K (6.2 miles), registration fee $45
Events take place in and around Ernie Roberts Park. Parking is located in the park parking lot; bib pickup is available on race morning from the pavilions to the right of the playgrounds. A water station is available along the course. All finishers receive a finisher medal; first, second, and third place finishers receive an additional medal. These races are not run with timing chips.
