Run like a Girl Series
The Run like a Girl Series is a two-race running event held in Desoto, Texas on 09/19/2026 and 10/17/2026 at 515 E Pleasant Run rd. The series donates 100% of proceeds to Bras for Girls, a charity that provides new sports bras and breast health education to girls ages 8 to 18.
Distances offered include:
- 3.1 Miles (5K)
- 6.2 Miles (10K)
Registration fees are listed as $30 for the 5K and $45 for the 10K. Registration windows are specified for each race with opening and closing dates. The event is not a time chipped race.
Course support details note a water station available along the route. Finishers receive a finisher medal, and first through third place finishers receive additional medals. Parking is available in the Ernie Roberts Park parking lot; bib pickup is located under the pavilions to the right of the playgrounds on race day. There is one porta potty on the park grounds; participants are advised that supplies such as toilet tissue, wipes, and hand sanitizer may be useful if facilities are needed.
