The Peticolas Running Club Social Run/Walk is an Oktoberfest-themed athletic event held at the Peticolas Brewing Company in Dallas, Texas. Participants take part in a 3-mile run or walk along a trail located near the brewery. The event features a rolling start format, allowing individuals to begin their activity at their preferred time within a specified check-in window. For those who prefer a collective experience, a group start option is also provided.
The course includes mile markers to help participants track their progress. While bottled water is provided at the start, there are no water stations situated along the trail. The event is held rain or shine; in the event of inclement weather, activities transition to the indoor taproom space.
Registration includes the 3-mile activity, a custom branded pint glass, three Peticolas beverages, and breakfast tacos. Participants may choose to consume their beverages as drafts in the taproom or take a portion of them to go in cans. Following the run or walk, a social gathering includes breakfast and a raffle.
The event is held on a paved trail and is stroller-friendly. However, dogs are not permitted at this event. All participants must present a valid ID at check-in.
