HACEMOS NTX Scholarship 5K Run/Walk

The HACEMOS NTX Scholarship 5K Run/Walk is a community event held at the University of Texas at Arlington. This athletic gathering serves as a fundraiser for the IMME Becas / HACEMOS NTX Scholarship Program, with proceeds directed toward providing scholarships for students in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The event is organized by the Hispanic Association of Communications Employees of AT&T, a non-profit organization focused on community improvement.

Participants can choose from the following event options:

• In-person 5K Run/Walk: A race held on a certified course.
• Virtual 5K: A remote option allowing participants to complete the distance from any location.

The in-person event takes place on the UTA campus, and participants are provided with water and snacks. Free parking is available for attendees at designated campus locations, specifically Lot 34 and the West Campus Garage. In accordance with campus policy, pets are not permitted on the race course.

Registration for the in-person race includes a participation medal for those who complete the course. Race shirts are available as an optional add-on for a fee. The event features awards for overall male and female finishers following the completion of the race.
