Run Durham Dalton Park 10 Miler 2026
The event is a 10 mile road and trail race held on 23rd August 2026 at Dalton Park Shopping Centre in Murton, Seaham SR7 9HU. The course is undulating and described as multi terrain, combining trail and tarmac, and finishes next to the Dalton Park Retail Centre in the nature reserve. The route is accurately measured and chip timing is provided by Timing4Sport. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and an optional race T shirt is available at extra cost.
Entry is open with a limit of 500 participants. Affiliated entries cost £22.00 and unaffiliated entries cost £24.00. Entries close on 18th August 2026; late entries on the day may be possible for an additional fee. Minimum age to enter is 16.
Race headquarters and registration are at Dalton Park Shopping Centre. Race day facilities include a bag drop at Race HQ, toilets at Race HQ and in the shopping village, limited changing facilities, and parking suggested near the Dancing Betty Pub. Water is provided approximately every 3 miles and distance markers are placed every mile. The event is traffic free and first aid is available. The organiser specifies that wheeled devices, pets, and similar items are not permitted, and in ear and over ear headphones are generally not allowed at Run Nation events.
