Event
Run 906 is scheduled for Sunday, September 6, 2026, in Saint Ignace, Michigan. The event is organized by Yooper Running Company and features a 9.06K road race. Registration is online only. An entry limit will be set six weeks before race day. The published registration prices include a 2025 rate of $25 plus a $15 T-shirt option and later month pricing ranges up to $40 plus the shirt option. Bib pickup will include an early pickup (location and time to be updated) and race day pickup near the start/finish from 7:00 am to 8:30 am.
Course and logistics
The start and finish are at Bridge View Park, W69 Boulevard Drive, Saint Ignace. The course is an out-and-back: participants run west on Boulevard Drive for 4.53 km before turning at the turnaround and returning to the finish. Boulevard Drive is hard packed limestone gravel with a few potholes. The route offers views of the Mackinac Bridge and nearby water. Parking is free in a grass lot at Bridge View Park; participants are asked to avoid the main asphalt lot.
All finishers of the 9.06K receive medals. A $15 T-shirt option is available during registration. Age group awards are given in standard 10-year bands from 0-9 through 80+. Overall awards include top Male and Female, top Master (40+), and top Grand Master (60+). Yooper Running Company uses bibs with double transponders for chip timing. An aid station with water and gatorade is located at the turnaround, and refreshments are provided at the finish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
