Moie Brown Memorial Run for the Health of It
The Moie Brown Memorial Run for the Health of It is a community run and walk held in Saint Ignace, Michigan, on the Mackinac Straits Health System campus at 1140 N. State Street. The event offers both an in-person race day on September 26, 2026 and a virtual option that runs from September 26 to October 10, 2026.

The event includes a Color Run element and complimentary root beer floats for participants. Registration includes a commemorative T-shirt or long sleeve shirt and a finisher's medal; virtual participants will receive shirts and medals by mail but shipments are not sent to Canada. Proceeds support Mackinac Straits Health System and Evergreen Living Center.
Awards are custom handcrafted by a local high school woodshop class and will be presented to overall male and female finishers and to specified age groups. Course descriptions note that both races start at the hospital campus and give route details for the 5K and 10K, including roads used, a short hill on N. Airport Road, and a loop around Evergreen Living Center to finish. Course support will include standing signs, painted road markers, and volunteers. Routes may change slightly due to construction.
