Course, support and awards
Both the 5K and 10K start at the hospital campus. The 5K route uses North State Street, N. Airport Road past the airport and a small hill, then S. Airport Road back toward the hospital with a loop around Evergreen Living Center to the finish. The 10K follows the same initial route, then continues on N. State Street to Reagon Street, Lemotte Street, and Cheeseman Road before turning around and returning to the hospital loop. Courses are marked with standing signs, painted road markers, and volunteers. Courses may change slightly due to construction.
Awards include overall male and female awards and age-group awards. Awards are custom, handcrafted by the LaSalle High School Woodshop class. Proceeds benefit Mackinac Straits Health System and Evergreen Living Center. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
