Rotary Club of Florence Forget Me Not 5K
The Rotary Club of Florence Forget Me Not 5K is a family fun run/walk held on August 15, 2026, at James Allen Plaza in downtown Florence, South Carolina. The event is presented by the Morning News and raises funds for Rotary's CART Fund, Coins for Alzheimer’s Research Trust.
Registration opens December 7, 2025, and closes August 14, 2026. Registration fees listed by the organizer are $30 for early registration, $35 the day of the race, and $15 for students. T-shirts are guaranteed only for participants who register by July 1; available sizes include youth Small, Medium, Large and adult Small, Medium, Large, X-Large, 2X-Large.
Packet pick-up includes an early check-in at James Allen Plaza on August 14 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Race-day check-in begins at 6:45 AM on August 15. Award categories for the 5K include top three overall male and female finishers and top three male and female finishers in age groups: 7 & under, 8-12, 13-16, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
