Event
The Rosaryville Ramble takes place on February 22, 2026 at Rosaryville State Park in Upper Marlboro, Maryland (7805 W Marlton Ave). Distances offered:
- 5k
- 10k
- Half marathon
Points from the event count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k, Endurance, and Back of the Pack Series, and toward the Winter Series. A virtual race option is available. The race benefits the Rosaryville Conservancy, a volunteer organization incorporated in 1992 that supports the park as a natural environment for hiking, biking and equestrian activities. There is a daily park entry fee; participants are responsible for paying that fee.
Logistics and race services
The event is chip timed. Runners receive a finisher’s medal and a technical (Dri-FIT) event shirt; shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed before February 11. Packet pickup is available at the event; participants are advised to arrive about one hour before the event to check in. Race day registration is available but shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed for late registrants. Registration fees (early vs later): 5k $30 then $35, 10k $45 then $50, half $65 then $70. Price increases on race morning by $5 per distance.
Live interim results are posted online with a QR code at the race and final results with series points are posted the Monday after the event.
Course, aid and awards
The course begins on paved/gravel roads and includes scenic single-track trail with rolling hills. The 10k consists of two laps of the 5k course. Water stations: three on the 10k (approximate mile 1, 3.1 and 4.1) and one on the 5k (approximate mile 1); Gatorade is available at some stations. Restrooms are onsite.
