Day of the Dead Half Marathon - Dallas
The Day of the Dead Half Marathon - Dallas takes place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Fair Oaks Park, 7621 Fair Oaks Ave, Dallas, TX 75231. The event includes a post-race rally tent with live music, snacks and refreshments. Aid stations will be available on course to provide water and basic assistance. Race organizers provide T-shirts and finisher medals; a shirt guarantee cutoff is 10 days before the event. Packet pickup is offered starting 1.5 hours before the race start. Course surfaces may include pavement, crushed granite and dirt paths.

- 1 Mile - not chip timed; includes T-shirt and medal.
- 5K - 3.11 miles; chip timed; age group awards and overall trophies.
- Quarter Marathon - 6.55 miles; chip timed; age group awards and overall trophies.
- Half Marathon - 13.1 miles; chip timed; age group awards and overall trophies.
- Volunteer then Run - includes chip timed bib, T-shirt and finisher medal; participants volunteer before running.
- Virtual Run - remote participation option.
Standard age-group awards are listed for male and female categories from 10 and under through 70+. A costume contest is held before the race and is judged for creativity and authenticity, with a prize for the winner.
