Running of the Bulldogs Fun Run
The 11th annual Running of the Bulldogs takes place on October 24, 2026 in McKinney, Texas at McKinney North High School, 2550 Wilmeth Dr. The event supports the McKinney North High School Cross Country and Track and Field teams.
The event program includes multiple distances:
- 1 mile fun run
- 5K
- 5K Premium Registration
The 5K course passes through the Timber Creek neighborhood and includes rolling hills. The route begins on the McKinney North High School campus and finishes with the final 300 meters on the MNHS track. Mile participants receive finisher ribbons and 5K participants receive custom medals. Top male and female runners receive sunglasses from Sunglass Hut and a $150 Fleet Feet gift card. Top finishers in each age group and gender receive trophies.
Onsite activities include bounce houses, local artisans, food trucks, coffee, live music and face painting. Shirt and bib pick-up is scheduled for October 24 at Pickleman’s, 4020 W University Dr, Ste 400, McKinney, with pickup windows provided by the organizer.
