The Blue Rose Run 2026
The Blue Rose Run is the inaugural community running event at Bachman Lake in Dallas on Saturday, October 24, 2026. The event includes a 5K run, a 1 Mile Walk, and a Virtual 5K option that provides the same distance and event kit to participants who complete the route on their own time.
The course is a flat, paved loop around Bachman Lake with water views and shaded paths. A post-race Shield Social follows the event and includes live music, a vendor village, complimentary recovery snacks, and an awards ceremony that recognizes top finishers and community honorees.
Packet pickup is available before race day at Luke's Locker and on race day at the event venue. A youth discount is applied for children ages 3 to 12. Registration is tiered and includes separate pricing for the 1 Mile Walk, 5K, and Virtual 5K.
Proceeds and fundraising efforts support the Lisa Sandel Police Women’s Foundation. The event lists multiple community sponsors and includes options for t-shirt-only purchases apart from race registration.
