The Amazing Spooktacular 5K & Monster 1-Mile
The Mesquite ISD Education Foundation presents The Amazing Spooktacular 5K & Monster 1-Mile on October 24, 2026 at Town East Mall in Mesquite, Texas. The event supports Mesquite ISD teachers and students and helps fund classroom ideas.
Participants are invited to wear Halloween costumes. The race is part of the Mesquite ISD Read.Play.Talk. Festival, which includes free trick-or-treating and free Kid's Zone access for kids who take part in the 5K, plus vendor booths, activities, and food trucks.
Distances:
- 5K chip-timed
- Monster 1 mile not chip-timed
Registration fees are listed by category: adult entries are set at $35 with a noted increase to $45 on race day, and student entries are $20. A group discount of $15 is applied at checkout for groups of four to eight. Race packets are described as including an official event T-shirt, a commemorative finisher medal, and a race bib. Complimentary parking, event swag, and discount offers are noted.
