Event Overview

This is the May edition of the Rocky Mountain Road Runners' monthly Trophy Series event, held in the Denver area.

Location and Course

The race takes place at Denver's Central Park. The courses are mostly flat and run on paved paths around the park.

Race Distances

Two distances are offered:

  • 5 miles (8 km)
  • 5 km

Start Procedure

The event features a staggered start system. For the 5-mile race, a handicap start is used, with participants starting slow-to-fast over approximately 25 minutes. The 5 km race begins about 10 minutes after the first group of 5-mile runners starts.

Participants are advised to arrive at least 30 minutes before the start time to collect their bib number.

Parking and Meeting Point

Parking is available at Denver's Central Park, located on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard at Beeler Street, east of Quebec Street. The meeting point is the park pavilion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
