RMRR May Trophy Series
The Rocky Mountain Road Runners host this monthly event in Denver's Central Park. The race features two distinct distances on mostly flat, paved paths throughout the park grounds. Participants gather at the pavilion located near Martin Luther King Blvd and Beeler Street to begin the event.
The schedule includes the following distances:

- 5K
The 5-mile event utilizes a specific handicap start system. In this format, participants are released in a staggered manner from slowest to fastest over a period of approximately 25 minutes. This system is designed to provide all participants with an opportunity to compete for a win regardless of their typical pace.
The 5K race follows a traditional mass start format. All runners for this distance begin their race together, approximately 10 minutes after the first group of the 5-mile handicap race has started.
