Event Details
The event offers several distance options: a 5K, a 10K, a half marathon (13.1 miles), and a Family 1 Mile Fun Run. There is also a Virtual Run option. The run takes place at Piney Creek Hollow Park in Centennial, Colorado.
Registration and Format
Registration is described as selling out quickly, with waves closing as they fill. It is a smaller, private group run with a cap per wave. All paces and ages are welcome to run or walk. There is no equipment or setup provided; it is described as a pure run with coordinators present for support.
Participant Benefits
Registered participants receive a running t-shirt shipped to a US address, a finisher's towel or giveaway item, a finisher's medal, and a digital training pack. Optional technical running shirts are available for an additional fee. Race bibs are provided on the event day, and swag is shipped directly to participants. Online results and a certificate of completion are provided.
Timing and Logistics
Official timing is optional. Participants may track their own time using an app and submit it via a form, or ask coordinators for help. There are no timing chips. Wave start times are offered, and late runners can join upon arrival as coordinators stay for three hours after the first wave. A final update with course maps is emailed the Wednesday before the race.
Additional Information
The event supports charity initiatives, with optional fundraising where a donation is made for miles logged after the race. There are opportunities for sponsorship and volunteering.
