Revel Run
The Revel Run takes place in Shreveport, Louisiana, with the start located along the Clyde Fant Parkway. Managed by Sportspectrum, the event offers multiple distances and categories for runners and wheelchair participants. The course for the shorter distance is a straight out and back route conducted on the parkway.
Participants can choose from several event options:
- 15k (9.3 miles)
- 5k Adults (3.1 miles)
- 5k Kids (3.1 miles)
- 5k Wheelchair (3.1 miles)
The 15k course remains open for two and a half hours, after which all runners are removed from the route. For the 5k Kids category, age groups include 10 and under, 11-15, and 16-18. The adult categories span age divisions from 19-under up to 80 and over, depending on the chosen distance.
Pre-registered participants who sign up by the designated deadline receive an official event t-shirt. There is an option to decline the shirt for a reduction in the entry fee. Awards are provided for overall male and female winners, as well as first and second-place finishers in various age groups. Packet pickup is scheduled for the two days prior to the event at a local sports store, or on-site on the morning of the run. Dogs are not permitted on the course.
