Barksdale AFB CMSAF Binnicker Memorial Run
The CMSAF Binnicker Memorial Run at Barksdale AFB is scheduled for October 16, 2026 and is hosted by Barksdale AFB Top Three at the Global Power Museum Run Trail. The event offers organized running and walking options and includes a race shirt and challenge coin for the first 25 registrants.
Participants may choose from the following distances:
- 9K Run
- 5K Run/Walk
The event benefits the memory care wing at the Air Force Enlisted Village assisted living residence, Hawthorn House. Funds raised will support care and services for residents living with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, including military widows, retirees, veterans, and their family members.
An Extra Mile Challenge is available for participants who create fundraisers. Registrants who commit to fundraising $109 for the Air Force Enlisted Village may be eligible for a refund of registration costs up to the registration amount once that fundraising threshold is met. The posted registration fee for each event is $30.
The memorial run traces back to an inaugural 9K held in August 2015 at Bob Hope Village in Shalimar, Florida, and was developed to honor the ninth Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
