Event overview
El Diablo Hundo offers multiple trail distances around Lake Bistineau State Park in Doyline, LA. The race uses a 10-mile loop that combines the Blue Wing, Koasati, and Whoa Mule trails and runs on classic state park trail surfaces with muddy sections, tree roots, and natural footing.

Course and services
The loop includes two aid stations. The primary aid station at the start and finish area provides hot food and a variety of trail snacks. A second unmanned station sits near the halfway point and provides water, snacks, ice, and electrolytes. Finishers in the 100K and 100M receive finisher buckles; 25K and 50M finishers receive medals. Top three male and female finishers in 25K and 50M receive plaques. Top three male and female finishers in 100K and 100M receive a custom buckle holder.
Facilities and lodging
Lake Bistineau State Park features cabins, campsites with water and electrical hookups, trails, boat launches, and fishing opportunities. The park contains upland mixed hardwood forest and stands of cypress and tupelo trees.
Additional details
Swag varies by distance and includes pull over hoodies, caps, headbands, and cooling towels for specified distances. Race day food at the start and finish includes a variety of hot and cold items and vegan options. Military donors and first responders may be eligible for a discount with proof within 24 hours.
