Great 5K and Paddlefest : Fox Creek Farms, October 3, 2026
The Arc Caddo-Bossier’s GREAT Program hosts a combined running and paddle event at Fox Creek Farms in Shreveport, Louisiana. The program provides equine assisted services to children, teens and adults with disabilities; proceeds support those activities. The event offers separate and combined entry options for the 5K run and the Paddlefest.

Entry fees vary by event and registration window. Fee tiers are listed for combined and single entries, and the post race party has a separate entry fee of $15. Participants who register by September 18 are guaranteed a race shirt. Paddle participants must wear lifejackets. Participants are expected to bring their own paddleboard, kayak or canoe; rentals are available for $20.
Packet pick up is available at Sportspectrum and on site at Fox Creek Farms. Awards will be presented to first overall male and female 5K finishers and by age group, and to overall winners in paddle categories including paddleboard, kayak, canoe, and two-person kayak and canoe classes.
The GREAT Post Race Party at Fox Creek Farms includes food provided by Ki’ Mexico, live music, drawings, door prizes and activities for children. The post race party is ticketed separately. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
