Reidsville Family YMCA Turkey Trot
The Reidsville Family YMCA Turkey Trot is an annual community event held in Reidsville, North Carolina. This athletic gathering serves as a fundraiser to support the Y’s Programs and the Annual Giving Campaign. The proceeds provide financial assistance and scholarships for memberships, swim lessons, youth sports, and child care for local individuals and families who would otherwise be unable to afford these services.
The event offers several participation options to accommodate different preferences:
- 5k
- Virtual 5k
- 1 Mile Fun Run
- Shirt Only option
The Virtual 5k allows participants to complete their distance at a location of their choice between November 1st and November 14th. Virtual runners can track their performance using a fitness app or a watch and submit their results manually or through the RaceJoy app.
Participants who complete their registration before October 26th receive a long-sleeve t-shirt as part of their entry. Those who wish to change their selected event must do so by the November 7th deadline. The physical races are centered at the Reidsville Family YMCA facility.
