About the race
The Holiday Run Festival in Martinsville includes the Holiday 5K Run presented by Lester Building Supply and is scheduled for December 5, 2026. The event is run in conjunction with the Martinsville Speedway Toy Drive and uses the Martinsville Speedway as the start and finish venue.
The Festival features a 5K run, walk, or ruck. Walkers may complete the course for the Speedway experience but are not eligible for awards, race shirts, or race bibs. Ruck participants must carry a minimum weight of 15 pounds and are asked to fill their ruck with new, unwrapped toys for the toy drive.
Awards are planned for the top three male and female finishers in the 5K. Participants also compete for Overall and Age Group awards. Registered entrants receive an official tech fabric short sleeve race shirt if registered by November 20; shirts for later registrations are subject to available supply.
