Ready, Set, Glow - Victor

Ready, Set, Glow is an evening trail event at Dryer Road Park in Victor, NY held on local park trails in low light. Trails will be marked with glow sticks and flags and the course uses winding, technical singletrack and open field sections. The event includes a post race party and race items for some entries.

Distances offered:

• 5 Miles trail run, full route on marked trails.
• 1.5 Miles short course fun run, follows most of the long route with a hill, a technical portion, a field crossing, and a finish; intended for kids and families.

Entry fees and items: the main trail entry fee is $35 and includes glow sticks, a race t-shirt, and access to the post race party; day of registration carries a $5 increase. The fun run fee is listed as $15 for adults and $10 for children 0 to 18, with medals for kids and post race food and drinks for participants. T-shirt size guarantee is available for those who register by October 1.

Logistics and safety: the event is self supported with no aid stations and only water available along the route, so participants should bring their own nutrition. Headlamps are required for the kids run. Packet pickup is available in the days before the event at Rochester Running Company. Children 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult for the entire fun run. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
