Stars & Stripes VeteRun 5K
The Stars & Stripes VeteRun 5K is a family-friendly event designed to honor Veterans and Active Military members. The event takes place at Mendon Ponds Park in Honeoye Falls, with activities centered around Stewart Lodge. A portion of the proceeds from the race supports Honor Flight Rochester, Inc.
Participants can choose between several participation options:
- 5K (In-Person Event)
- 5K - Veterans & Active Military (In-Person Event)
- Virtual 5K
The in-person 5K features electronic RFID timing and live results posted online. All participants registered by October 25, 2026, are guaranteed a premium blend cotton t-shirt; after this date, shirts are available while supplies last. Finishers can also access printable certificates and race bibs.
For those who prefer a remote option, the Virtual 5K allows participants to run or walk a course of their own choosing. The virtual window is open for several days, during which times can be submitted online. Virtual registration includes a digital bib, live result posting, and a printable finisher certificate.
Packet pickup is available at specific locations in Rochester and Honeoye Falls leading up to and on the morning of the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
