About the race
Bound for the Hounds 6 Hour Ultra is a fundraiser-style race in Shortsville, New York, on the Manchester Gateway Trail. Participants have six hours to complete as many 2.3-mile out-and-backs as they choose. The course runs on a packed cinder and pavement surface along a canal-path-like trail with gentle rollers.
The event supports a free local dog park, and canine companions are welcome on a leash throughout the race (with the race director able to request removal if issues arise).
