Raffle Run

Raffle Run

Raffle Run is a timed, lap-based running event held at Veterans Park in Hoover, Alabama. The course is approximately 1 mile, marked, and includes paved surfaces and trails. The listed event formats include:

• 5K run
• 10K run
• Timed 1.5 hour run where distance varies by laps completed

Participants receive a wristband at packet pick-up on race day; the wristband must remain visible to earn raffle tickets. Raffle tickets are earned only by completing laps and are not for sale. Upon completion of each lap, a participant may choose which prize drawing to enter and receives a ticket for that prize. Tickets must be kept until the prize drawings and the winner must be present with the matching ticket to claim a prize.

Five cash prizes will be awarded, totaling $2,500, with individual prize amounts listed in the event materials. After those drawings, all tickets are combined for a final drawing for a mystery prize with an approximate value of $500. One water station will be available at the start/finish area. A finisher's medal is provided upon return of the wristband at the participant's final lap. The published entry fee for the event is $50.
