Format, logistics and prizes
This is a timed event where participants receive a wristband at race-day packet pickup at the pavilion by the playgrounds. There is no early packet pickup. Participants have 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete as many laps of the approximate 1.25-mile course as they can; the course includes paved surfaces and trails and is described as well marked. After each completed lap, a runner receives a raffle ticket for the prize lane they choose; tickets are earned only during the event, are not for sale, and are not replaceable if lost. On the final lap the wristband is returned in exchange for the final raffle ticket and a finisher's medal. One water station will be available at the start/finish area; no food is provided. Race-day parking and restrooms are available at the park. No refunds are offered; entries may be transferred or deferred.
Five prizes will be drawn at the end of the event. Prize details include two $500 gift cards (Carnival and Southwest), three cash winners of $200 each, a total of 10 ounces of pure silver distributed as two 5-ounce prizes, and 1/10 ounce of pure gold.
