Raffle Run

Raffle Run is a lap-based running and walking event held at Veterans Park in Hoover, Alabama, with a roughly 1.25-mile loop that includes paved surfaces and trails. The event offers three listed options for searchability:

• 5K Run
• 10K Run
• Timed 1.5 Hour Run

Actual distance is determined by each participant's effort during the 1.5-hour timed portion; participants may complete one lap or many laps. Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome. Packet pickup is race day at the pavilion by the playgrounds; there is no early packet pickup. Parking and restrooms are available near the start/finish area.

Participants receive a custom wristband at packet pickup. Only participants wearing the wristband and completing a full lap receive a raffle ticket upon crossing the lap line. Raffle tickets are earned only through completed laps and are not for sale. Tickets correspond to specific prizes and must be retained until the prize drawings. There are five prizes with a combined approximate value of $2,500; one prize is distributed as three separate cash winners of $200 each. A single water station will be available at the start/finish area. There are no refunds, but entries may be transferred or deferred per organizer policy.
