Rumpshaker 5K - Birmingham, AL
Rumpshaker 5K is an annual running event that benefits colorectal cancer awareness and supports Rumpshaker Inc. The event offers both in-person and virtual options and includes a separate set of categories for colon cancer survivors.

In-person 5K participants receive bib-tag timing chips and recorded results; chip-timed entrants are eligible for awards. The virtual 5K can be completed at the participant's chosen location and includes the 5K T-shirt as part of the registration package. Colon cancer survivor entries are available; virtual survivors receive a blue bib.
Team registration is available. A team discount applies once a fifth team member is registered; team members one through four receive a $5 credit at checkout. The team discount offer ends March 20, 2027. Registration fees listed for event categories include $30 for in-person 5K, $25 for virtual 5K, and $20 for the 1 Mile fun run.
Packet pickup takes place the week before the event at Fleet Feet in Birmingham, and team captains can request consolidated packet pickup if requested before March 19, 2027. Race day pickup is at Regions Field. Street closure affects 1st Ave S between 14th St S and 16th St S near the start area. There are no refunds; bib transfers must be completed by March 20, 2027.
