Rumpshaker 5K
Rumpshaker 5K is scheduled for March 28, 2026 at Regions Field in Birmingham, Alabama. The event benefits colorectal cancer awareness and supports Rumpshaker, Inc. programs including a traveling inflatable colon display and local patient assistance through the Lisa Martz Hope Fund.
The event program includes multiple participation options:
- 5K In-Person with chip timing
- Virtual 5K do it yourself option with a 5K T-shirt
- 1 Mile Fun Run
- Colon Cancer Survivor event options
In-person 5K participants are chip timed. Team discounts of five dollars per person apply to teams of five or more for both the in-person and virtual 5K categories; the team discount deadline is March 21, 2026. Pre-race packet pickup is scheduled in the days before the race at Fleet Feet in Birmingham, with race day packet pickup at Regions Field.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to age group finishers in five year increments based on chip time. Team awards include placements for most participants and fundraising achievements, and select team trophies for fastest teams and team spirit.
