Rumpshaker 5K
The 19th annual Rumpshaker 5K takes place on March 27, 2027 at Regions Field in Birmingham, Alabama. The event benefits colorectal cancer awareness and proceeds support Rumpshaker, Inc.
Race formats include in-person and virtual options and a one mile fun run. The in-person 5K uses chip timing; timed results are recorded and posted online and in-person 5K participants are eligible for awards. The virtual 5K is run at each participant's chosen location and includes the 5K T-shirt as part of registration for that category.
Team registration discounts apply for groups of five or more. The team discount is applied when the fifth team member registers; team members one through four receive a $5 credit to the card used at checkout. The $5 off team discount ends March 20, 2027. Listed registration fees include $30 for the in-person 5K, $25 for the virtual 5K, and $20 for the one mile fun run.
Packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet during the days before the event and at Regions Field on race day; team captains can request team packet pickup if requested by March 19. All in-person 5K participants receive a bib with a timing chip located on the bib backside; the bib should be worn on the front of the shirt. There are no refunds; bib transfers must be completed by March 20. Unregistered participants are not permitted to run. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
