Rumpshaker 5K takes place on March 27, 2027 at Regions Field in Birmingham, Alabama. The event benefits Colorectal Cancer Awareness and includes in-person and virtual participation options.

Registration opens August 1, 2026 and closes March 7, 2027. Published entry fees vary by category. A team discount applies once a fifth team member is registered; the first four team members receive a credit and the team discount ends March 20, 2027. Fundraising incentives are offered for individual and team fundraisers.

Pre-race packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet Sports in Birmingham during the days before the event. Team packet pickup can be requested in advance so a team captain may collect all team packets; if not requested by the stated deadline, team members must pick up their own packets. Additional race day packet pickup is at Regions Field. Free parking is provided at a nearby lot with a short walk to the venue. Street closures will affect the start area on 1st Ave S.

In-person 5K participants receive a bib with a timing chip; recorded results require wearing the bib on the front of the shirt. Awards include top overall male and female results by gun time, age group awards by chip time across standard five-year divisions, and several team awards. No refunds are issued; bib transfers must meet the published deadline. The organizers reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances, in which case entry fees will be treated as donations.
