This is a self-supported run, meaning participants are responsible for their own hydration and nutrition. Rather than traditional aid stations, the event utilizes local businesses along the route. Participants are advised to bring cash or a card to purchase items at these locations. There is a one-time fee of $35 specifically for joining the group membership at the Birmingham Zoo portion of the route.
