The Racing Against Hate 5K Run/Walk in Jacksonville, FL is organized by the First Coast YMCA and the Jewish Community Alliance. It is scheduled for Sunday, February 22, 2026, and is based at the Winston Family YMCA, 221 Riverside Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32202. The event includes two distances:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Fun Run
The 5K course crosses the Acosta Bridge using the main road (southbound). The 1 Mile Fun Run follows the Riverwalk. A Unity Village with vendors, community partners, activities and food trucks will be open before and after the runs. YMCA and JCA instructors will lead a brief warm-up and stretch for participants.
Logistics and race details
Packet pickup is available at the Winston Family YMCA and at the Jewish Community Alliance location. Parking options include the YMCA lot at 221 Riverside Ave and the FIS parking garage first floor at 323 Riverside Ave. The race uses bib chip timing; chips are distributed at packet pickup, must be attached to the shirt to record a time, and do not need to be returned. Overall awards are based on the official start time and age group awards use individual chip time. Overall awards will be given for 1st through 3rd place.
