Ayr 10k : Race for Life
The event at The Low Green in Ayr includes 10k, 5k and 3k distances and takes place on Sunday 28 June 2026. The course starts and finishes on a hardstanding path and is described as flat, with the route split roughly evenly between tarmac and grass. The 10k route is a double lap of the 5k course.
The route includes an 800 m section on grass. The course is accessible to wheelchair users, but assistance is recommended for that grass section. Event organisers provide on-site accessibility support including Sunflower wristbands, staff trained as Dementia Friends, and a QR code for British Sign Language stage content.
Travel and arrival information notes event parking at Ayr Beach Car Park across the road from the Low Green. The bus station is within a 10 minute walk and the train station is about a 20 minute walk from the start area. There are electric charging points within a 15 minute walk on Miller Road.
