Ayr 10k 2026 at The Low Green
Race for Life at The Low Green in Ayr takes place on Sunday 28 June 2026 and is organised by Cancer Research UK. The event is open to participants aged 16 and over. A minimum fundraising target of £50 applies.

- 5k
- 10k (two laps of the 5k course)
The start and finish are on a hardstanding path. The course is flat and is split evenly between tarmac and grass. The 10k route follows a double lap of the 5k course. Events are chip timed.
Facilities listed for the event include refreshments, toilets, bag drop and showers. Dogs are allowed and the route is suitable for pushchairs. The route is accessible to wheelchair users, but an 800 m section on grass means assistance is recommended.
Accessibility provisions on site include Sunflower wristbands, Event Managers trained as Dementia Friends and a QR code to access British Sign Language stage content. The start line is located on The Low Green. Public transport and walking distances: Ayr bus station is within a 10 minute walk, the train station is about a 20 minute walk and the town centre is within a 15 minute walk. Event parking is reported at Ayr Beach Car Park across the road and electric charging points are available along Miller Road within a 15 minute walk.
