Race for Life Ayr 10k : The Low Green
Race for Life Ayr is scheduled for Sunday 27 Jun 2027 at The Low Green in Ayr, KA7 1EQ. The event offers three distances and a coastal route that follows the Ayr seafront and esplanade.
The course starts and finishes on the Low Green. The route is a double lap mostly on tarmac; the start and finish areas are on loose gravel that is flat and firm underfoot but may become slippy in wet weather. The 10k is chip-timed. The route may be subject to change.
Facilities listed for the event include refreshments, toilets, bag drop and showers. The event site is wheelchair accessible with assistance and is suitable for pushchairs. Dogs are allowed. There are no bike racks on site; bike racks can be found in the town centre.
Travel and parking details note that there is event parking at Ayr Beach Car Park across the road from the start line and Blue Badge parking is available there, approximately 500 m on tarmac. The bus station is within a 10 minute walk and the train station is about a 20 minute walk. Electric vehicle charging points are available along Miller Road within a 15 minute walk of the site.
