Event overview
The Culzean Castle Trail Runs take place on Sunday 1 March 2026 at Culzean Castle, Maybole, KA19 8LE. The event is set within Culzean Castle and Country Park, an estate of 642 acres that includes gardens, beaches, woodland and trails. Live chip-timing will be provided by Timing Up North. The event is Canicross friendly and allows one controlled dog per runner.
Distances and entry
- 5km Trail Run : ages 11+
- 10km Trail Run : ages 15+
- Half Marathon Trail Run : ages 17+
Standard entry prices range from about £25 to £30. An event T-shirt can be purchased for £12 when signing up. Registration opens 30/05/2025 and closes 25/02/2026.
Facilities and other information
All finishers receive an event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, and a snack and drink. Parking is charged at £6 per vehicle; a parking pass includes access to the grounds for entrants and spectators.
