Event overview
The Culzean Castle Trail Runs take place at Culzean Castle and Country Park in Maybole, KA19 8LE on Sunday 1 March 2026. The estate covers 642 acres of gardens, beaches, woodland and trails and includes features such as a Swan Pond, ice house, formal gardens and fruit glasshouses. The runs are set around the castle and grounds designed by Robert Adam in the late 18th century.

- 5 km (ages 11+)
- 10 km (ages 15+)
- Half marathon (ages 17+)
Logistics and entries
Live chip-timing is provided by Timing Up North. The event is Canicross friendly and allows one controlled dog per runner. All finishers receive an event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, and a snack and drink. An event T-shirt is available for purchase for £12 at registration.
