Event overview
The Culzean Castle Trail Runs take place on Sunday 1 March 2026 at Culzean Castle, Maybole, KA19 8LE, on the west coast of Scotland. The event returns for its third year and offers three trail distances through Culzean Castle and Country Park, an estate of 642 acres of gardens, beaches, woodland and trails. Routes are provided for each distance and live chip-timing is used. The event is canicross friendly and allows one controlled dog per runner. All finishers receive an event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, and a snack and drink. An event T-shirt is available for purchase for £12 at entry.

Practical information
Registration opens 30 May 2025 and closes 25 February 2026. Standard entry prices listed are £24 (+ fee) for the 5 km, £27 (+ fee) for the 10 km, and £29 (+ fee) for the half marathon. Options that include a T-shirt have higher prices. Remaining places are shown for each entry category on the organiser’s entry page. Parking is charged at £6 per vehicle; a parking pass includes access to the grounds for entrants and spectators. Timing is provided by Timing Up North.
