Monkton Milers Santa Dash 2026
The Monkton Milers Santa Dash takes place on 06 Dec 2026 and is the event's seventh year. It is a fundraising event for Troon Men’s Shed and is open to everyone aged over 4. Children under eleven must be accompanied within arm's reach by a parent, guardian or appropriate adult; for children aged 4–11 the organiser specifies an adult-to-child ratio of 1:2.
The event follows the original Troon parkrun route. The course is described as flat, starting at the Sunken Garden, heading north along the South Beach Esplanade with a small loop at the far end, then returning to finish near the Sunken Gardens. The run is chip timed; numbers and timing chips are collected at registration.
On the day there will be a tombola, a raffle and a cake stall. Cash is preferred on the day, but card payments will be accepted. All finishers receive a medal and are offered water and a sweet treat. Fancy dress is optional, with Santas, Mrs Claus and elves commonly mentioned as examples.
