Race Against Human Trafficking (powered by Plant A Seed)
This event is a community run and walk in Downtown El Paso, Texas, organized to raise awareness and funds for Plant A Seed's work against human trafficking. The course will run through Downtown El Paso; an updated course map and exact route are to be finalized.
Distances offered include:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- Virtual 5K (3.1 miles)
- 1 Mile Fun Run (1 mile)
- Lollipop Kids Run (0.1 miles)
Standard entry fees for the listed timed events are set with a flat early rate and a late or race day rate. The listed rates are $35 for early registration and $40 for late or race day registration. Children under 10 receive a $5 discount on standard fees. Active military receive a $5 discount. The Lollipop Kids Run is a same day sign up event with no pre registration.
Giveaways include a free event T shirt for the first 300 registered participants and a finisher medal for the first 300 participants to complete the run or walk. Awards for the 5K include trophies for the top three male and top three female overall finishers and age group awards for both male and female in these categories: 10 and under, 11 14, 15 19, 20 29, 30 39, 40 49, 50 59, 60 69, 70 and over.
Event policies note that every participant is assigned a bib which must be worn on the front outside clothing and remain unfolded so timing cameras can read it. There are no refunds on entry fees; fees may be transferred to another available Plant A Seed race for a transfer fee. Race insurance is available for purchase only at the time of registration.
