Pups & Pastries is a community running event on September 12, 2026 at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, North Carolina. The event supports Second Chance Pet Adoptions and notes course records for the 5K and 6.5 Mile with a $10 gift code awarded for a new course record. Dog entries require a $10 fee that is donated to Second Chance Pet Adoptions. Only one dog per registered runner is allowed and dogs must remain on leashes; dogs are permitted only in the Doggie Dash 5K and Doggie Dash 6.5 Mile. Children 12 and younger are not allowed in the Doggie Dash events. Registration details indicate that shirts and finishers medals are included for 5K and 6.5 Mile participants and that Fun Mile finishers receive a medal if registered by the stated deadline.
