Punta Gorda GOTR Spring 5k

This is a community running event organized by Girls on the Run. It serves as a celebratory conclusion for girls who have completed an eight-week season of the Girls on the Run program.

The event takes place on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at South County Regional Park in Punta Gorda, Florida. There are two registration categories: the community 5k and a school employee 5k registration.

Registration includes a unisex cotton/poly race shirt and a keepsake finisher's medal. Awards are given for the top three in each age group, as well as overall male, female, and youth awards.

The event is open to all community runners. Strollers, wheelchairs, and dogs are permitted on the course. There is no time limit for completing the 5 km distance. A water station is located at the halfway point of the course.

Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, April 24, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the baseball pavilion in South County Regional Park. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
