Punta Gorda GOTR Spring 5k
The Punta Gorda GOTR Spring 5k takes place on April 25, 2026, at South County Regional Park in Punta Gorda, Florida. The event is a Girls on the Run 5K that celebrates girls who have completed an eight week Girls on the Run program; the race atmosphere includes pre-race warm-up activities and team gatherings.
Registration for the event includes a keepsake finisher medal and a unisex cotton/poly race shirt. Awards are given for age group places 1st through 3rd, overall male and female, and youth categories. Entry fees listed are $40 for adults and $30 for ages 0 to 17, with a price increase after April 24, 2026.
Event logistics note that everyone on the course must be registered; girls participating in the GOTR program are already registered and do not need to be registered online. Strollers and wheelchairs are allowed with a request that those on wheels line up at the back of the start for safety. Dogs are permitted on the course. There is no time limit to complete the 5K. Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, April 24 at South County Regional Park (Baseball Pavilion). A water station is available at the halfway point on the course.
