Florida Summer Endurance Event
The Inferno Challenge Englewood takes place on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Ann & Chuck Dever Regional Park in Charlotte County, Florida. This summer event utilizes the sun-soaked terrain of the park to provide a test of endurance in high temperatures. The courses are characterized as flat and fast, and they consist of a repetitive lap system.
Participants can choose from three distinct distances:
- 5K (1 lap)
- 10k (2 laps)
- 30K (6 laps)
The event is open to both runners and walkers for the shortest distance, while the longer distances are aimed at athletes focusing on endurance. All participants are subject to a strict cut-off time of 12:30 PM across all race categories.
Entrants receive an official event T-shirt and a custom finisher medal upon completion of their distance. Awards are also presented to the top overall and age group finishers. Race day packet pickup is available at the park pavilion starting in the early morning, as there is no pre-race pickup scheduled for the Friday prior to the event.
