Punk Panther Green Gateways is a trail race starting and finishing in Otley, West Yorkshire, on 17 January 2026. The event offers multiple distances:
- 14.0 miles - 1535 feet climb
- 20.0 miles - 2425 feet climb
- 34.1 miles - 3435 feet climb
Entries close on 4 January 2026. The event is limited to 200 entrants and the minimum age is 18. ITRA and UTMB qualification points are allocated by distance (ITRA: 1/1/2; UTMB: Q20K/Q20K/Q50K). Entry fees listed include separate prices for each distance.
Course and practical information
The route follows the Otley Green Gateways/Meanwood Valley Trail corridors and remains largely off-road despite proximity to Leeds. Provisional GPX files and a route description are provided; the final GPX and competitor instructions are emailed before the race and must be used for any last-minute diversions. All ultramarathon entrants receive a tracker; half-marathon and 20-mile runners may hire a tracker for £15. Checkpoints provide drinks, energy bars and vegan/gluten-free options. There are three checkpoints in total; the 34.1-mile course visits all three, the 20.0-mile course visits two, and the 14.0-mile course visits one. Checkpoint closing times act as cutoffs and arriving after a cutoff results in retirement from the race. Registration is at Otley Cricket Club and parking is provided at a nearby car park on Bremner Street. Every finisher receives a medal and an event T-shirt (unless they opt out).
