Punk Panther Green Gateways is a trail race on Saturday 17 January 2026 that follows the Green Gateways route around Leeds and the Meanwood Valley Trail. The event offers multiple distances:

The courses are largely off-road and use local green spaces and trails. Climbs for the distances are 1,535 / 2,425 / 3,435 feet respectively. The event is Race 1 of 10 in the Punk Panther series, has a maximum of 200 entrants and a minimum age of 18. ITRA points are 1/1/2 and the routes provide UTMB qualification of Q20K/Q20K/Q50K.

Practical information

Registration takes place at Otley Cricket Club and the listed start is at Station Top Car Park off East Chevin Road, Otley. All ultramarathon entrants are supplied with a tracker; half-marathon and 20-mile entrants may hire a tracker for £15. Trackers appear on the event tracker screen and include an emergency button. There are three checkpoints on the full route (Rawdon Library, Beckett Park, Cookridge) with food and drink options, including vegan and gluten-free items. The organisers require a standard kit list for safety (waterproof jacket, survival bag, whistle, mobile phone, hard copy map, cup, etc.). Every finisher receives a medal and an event T-shirt unless they opt out. Dogs are allowed on the course subject to event rules but are not permitted inside registration or the finish building.
