Event overview

The Yorkshireman Off Road Marathon and Half Marathon is organised by Keighley & Craven AC and is scheduled for 13 September 2026. The event is held off road over open moorland, trails and woods and is run under Fell Runners Association (FRA) rules. Route maps and GPX files are available and recce runs are organised in July and August. The race uses chip timing with live web updates at feed stations and the finish.

Feed stations

  • Half marathon: two feed stations at about 8.2 and 12.3 miles, stocked with water, squash, cola, fruit and snacks.
  • Full marathon: five feed stations at about 8.2, 15.3, 18.4, 21.7 and 23.9 miles; additional items may include salted potatoes, crisps and fruitcake.

  • Entry fees include discounts for FRA members and younger competitors; clothing (race T-shirts, hoodies) is available at extra cost.

  • The organisers allow deferrals and substitutions subject to published deadlines; refunds are generally not available.
  • Prizes are awarded for category winners.
