Event details
The Yorkshireman Off Road Marathon & Half Marathon is an off-road running event held on 13 September 2026 and organised by Keighley & Craven AC. The route covers open moorland, trails and woods and is waymarked. Runners are advised to carry a map, which is available for £2.50. Live timing and results are provided by SPORTident. The event includes feed stations and finish refreshments: the marathon has five feed stations and the half marathon has two. The marathon category lists about 26.2 miles with approximately 3,065 ft of climb; the half marathon category lists about 14.8 miles with approximately 1,750 ft of climb. Pairs entries are accepted for the marathon with separate male, female and mixed pair prizes. Race clothing and hoodies are available for purchase.
Entries, fees and policies
Entries open on 1 October 2025 and close on 31 July 2026. No entries are available on the day. Entry fees vary by age and date; a £4 discount applies for FRA members. Ten free places are reserved for active members of UK mountain or fell rescue teams (application by email to the organiser). Free deferrals to the 2027 race are allowed if notified by 31 July 2026. Substitutions are permitted on the entry system until 15 August 2026; if a place is resold through the system a refund is possible less a £3 admin fee. Swaps between the half and full are allowed on the system until 15 August 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
