Yorkshireman Off Road Marathon & Half Marathon
The 33rd Yorkshireman Off Road Marathon and Half Marathon takes place on 13 September 2026 and is organised by Keighley & Craven AC. The event is an off road running event over moorland, trails and woods. The full event has previously sold out months in advance and a waiting list was used for entries.
Distances
- Marathon: 26.2 miles, 3065' ascent.
- Half Marathon: 14.8 miles, 1750' ascent.
Solo entries are accepted for both races; pairs entries are accepted for the marathon only with mixed, men and women pair categories and prizes. The marathon has five well stocked feed stations that include items such as Port and Cheese, Landlord Fruit Cake and salted potatoes; the half marathon has two feed stations. Hot drinks are available pre race and hot food and refreshments are provided at the finish. Live timing and results are provided by SPORTident.
The route is waymarked; participants are advised to recce the course and to carry a map (maps available for purchase). Free guided recce runs are offered in July and August. The event is run under Fell Runners Association rules and the FRA mandatory minimum kit applies. The event is volunteer run and any profits go to charity and good causes.
