Yorkshireman Off Road Marathon
Yorkshireman Off Road Marathon is a well-known off-road event organized by Keighley & Craven AC in Haworth, West Yorkshire (starting at Haworth Primary School, Rawdon Road). The event offers a Full Marathon (26.2 miles) with about 3,065 feet of ascent and a Half Marathon (14.8 miles) with around 1,750 feet of ascent. The routes traverse open moorland, trails and woods across Brontë Country, including a windmill loop on the half course.
The course is partly marked with GPX routes and regular recce runs; five feed stations and hot food at the finish. It’s known for its friendly atmosphere, strong female participation, and charitable fundraising; pairs are allowed in the marathon. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
